Full Job Description
We are seeking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including but not limited to: ensuring the correct stock is received and dispatched for pickup or delivery.
This role requires attention to detail, occasionally be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding our company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive goods from suppliers, unload, and store safely
- Provide great customer service to customers picking up orders
- Maintain records and invoices
- Participate in regular stock takes
- Facility maintenance and layout ensuring a safe work environment in the warehouse at all times
Safety and Cleanliness:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Holding a Forklift license is Preferred but not mandatory
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Be friendly and proactive while working in a team.
- Be fit and able to move and lift boxes with the team.
- Be ready for a fast and vibrant warehouse.
- Drivers licence (easier to get to site with own car, plenty of parking)
Working Conditions:
The role involves physical activities, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. May require working in varying temperatures within the warehouse environment. Flexible schedule may be necessary based on business needs.
